There is always room for improvement. Currently the team is focusing on following ideas:
1-The whole circuit will be implemented in a wearable socks
2-SMD (surface- mount device) components will be used in PCB to make it lighter and smaller.
3-The user will have more options to choose between different exercises which require different knee angles.
4-A vibrator will be added to the circuit instead of buzzer to avoid annoying sound.
5-A seven segment will also be added to the circuit which counts correct movements
6-Many patients are asked to do exercises at home after surgery. It is important that the patients observe their improvement during the recovery period. ROM(range of motion) option will give patients the opportunity to observe improvement of their knee angle. We will develop a software to record daily information about patient's knee angle and compare the results together.
